The Woodlands Township is governed by a seven-member Board of Directors. Directors are elected by the community at large to serve two-year staggered terms. The Board of Directors serves as the legislative body, sets policy and approves the budget. All seven Directors serve on a volunteer basis. Per the Township’s enabling legislation, a Director is not entitled to compensation for service on the Board.
