THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (March 9, 2017) – The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch invites residents to attend a special Watch Talk Wednesday, March 29, 2017, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Montgomery County Sheriff Rand Henderson will introduce his leadership team, provide an overview of the new structure of the department and address his goals to expand community-oriented policing and social media communication. Also, Deputy Jason Hopper, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, The Woodlands Township Patrol, will share an encore presentation of Safe at Home. This is an ideal opportunity for residents to learn about locks, lighting, landscaping, alarms and crime prevention tips.
Residents are also encouraged to watch for future Watch Talk Wednesdays to be held on select second Wednesday evenings of the month at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, 77381, in public meeting rooms 150/152. Residents should enter at the left/west side of the building. Light refreshments are provided by H-E-B.
Watch Talk Wednesday is a free series produced by The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch. Programs provide residents with information on crime prevention practices and resources, as well as general safety information. A different topic is usually showcased in each presentation.
