THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 5, 2017) – Throughout The Woodlands, residents and visitors will make a splash this weekend. Select Township pools are open during the pre-season, Saturday, May 6, 2017, through Thursday, June 1, 2017. Cranebrook, Creekwood, Forestgate, Harper’s Landing, Sawmill, Shadowbend, Wendtwoods, Windvale and Rob Fleming Aquatic Center are open from noon to 6 p.m., Saturdays, and 1 to 6 p.m., Sundays. Bear Branch Pool is closed this year due to planning and reconstruction.
Beginning Monday, May 15, 2017, all those looking for a midweek escape may enjoy Falconwing Pool, weekday afternoons (except Wednesdays) from noon to 6 p.m.
During the height of summer and regular pool season, Friday, June 2, 2017, through Tuesday, August 15, 2017, all 13 Township pools are open.
Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, 2017, from noon to 6 p.m., and Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., all 13 Township pools are open. Only post-season pools are open during Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2017, which include Cranebrook, Falconwing, Harper’s Landing, Lakeside, Ridgewood, Sawmill, Shadowbend, Wendtwoods, and Rob Fleming Aquatic Center.
Season passes for Township pools are available for purchase. The passes may be purchased by residents for $40, ages 3 to 64; $15, 65 and up; and just $6 for children younger than 2. After purchasing four full-price ($40) passes, residents may purchase additional passes for just $15 each for others in the same household. For non-residents, the price is $30 for children younger than 2, and $120 for those ages 3 and up. There is no additional family member or senior discount for non-residents.
For new season pool passes, pictures must be taken at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch, located at 5310 Research Forest Drive, within one week of purchasing a new pass. Hours of Operation are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For guests visiting The Woodlands and residents who only use the pools occasionally, punch cards good for six visits are available for purchase. These cards cost $30 for residents and allow access to 12 pools, excluding the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center; $40 for residents with access to the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center; and $55 for non-residents for the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center only.
All Township pools are able to accept credit cards, cash and checks, though cash is not recommended for large transactions.
