THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (September 12, 2018) – The Woodlands Township is conducting community survey of randomly-selected residents this September and October. The survey aims to measure resident perceptions of Township services in order to assist the Township for future budgeting and planning purposes. The survey does not ask for credit card, bank account or social security numbers, and there are currently no plans for any phone calls for this survey.
A random and scientific sample of households will receive invitations to participate in the mail, and their confidential responses will be weighted and analyzed. If you are selected to receive a survey, the Township appreciates your time and responses.
“It won’t take much of your time to make a big difference in The Woodlands by sharing your opinion with the Township,” said Township Chairman of the Board Gordy Bunch to residents receiving the survey. “If your household is randomly selected to participate in the survey, we greatly appreciate your time and thank you for helping create a better community!”
The Township contracted with National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) to provide a low-cost, high-quality method to conduct market research. The survey centers on community livability and includes questions about the quality of life in the community, local policies, rating of local government services and other topics.
The Woodlands Township conducts this type of survey every two years to make sure it is meeting the expectations of residents. Results will be presented in a Public Meeting either in December or January of this year.
NRC is the leader in the field of public sector research and evaluation, with clients from across the country and around the globe.
