THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (September 14, 2018) – Registration is open now for the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 7 a.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive – a new location for this year! The USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned race is a popular annual event which includes 10-mile course, the 3.1 Armadillo Run (5K) and the One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run (1 mile). The venue change offers new courses which will incorporate the scenic Woodlands Waterway and portions of Lake Woodlands.

Early registration is strongly encouraged, as openings for the event are limited. The number of participants in all three races will be capped to ensure runner comfort and safety. Race day registration will be unavailable if the race is sold out. Online registration is available now at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/10fortexas.

The registration fee is $70 for the 10-mile race, $55 for the 3.1 Armadillo Run and $35 for the One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run. The fee is an additional $5 on race day for any remaining spots. After the race, participants will enjoy a Texas-sized post-race party with live music, food and fun for the whole family.

The event is sponsored by Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, The Strong Firm, Finish Strong Coaching, Bikeland of The Woodlands, VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa, Hilton Garden Inn, Chobani Café, Faust Distributing and H-E-B.
