Request for Interest for a New and Innovative Water Vessel Operation on The Woodlands Waterway

THE WOODLANDS, TX (March 1, 2019) – The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau (TWCVB), which markets under the name of Visit The Woodlands, is looking for an innovative approach to boat service on The Woodlands Waterway.

The Waterway is a centerpiece of the area’s shopping district, which has millions of square feet of shopping, dining and entertainment options. In addition, The Waterway is adjacent to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, which is currently ranked fourth in the top 100 amphitheaters in the world for ticket sales by Pollstar magazine. The Woodlands Waterway is also home to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, an annual art festival which consistently brings thousands of attendees to The Woodlands each April. Another annual event is the North American IRONMAN Championship, in which the swimming and running portions occur on The Woodlands Waterway.

The Woodlands CVB is requesting that professionals or firms with experience in boat operations in like cities, amusement venues and other destinations, submit a proposal.

Submissions for Request for Interest must be received no later than 4 p.m. on May 31, 2019. Please send questions in email at to the attention of Nick Wolda no later than 4 p.m. on May 17, 2019.
