Spring Events

Village Tree Planting (February)

Volunteers from young children to retired folks can make a difference at the Township's annual Village Tree Planting event. As an important part of the Township's Reforestation Program, volunteers are needed to plan thousands of trees where they are needed the most. Planting will be supervised by the Township's Forestry Division, which will pre-dig holes for the larger specimens.

Earth Day GreenUP (March)

Help The Woodlands Township celebrate Earth Day with this annual community-wide stewardship project. Connect with neighbors and the outdoors by joining or leading a cleanup crew bagging trash from the streets, pathways and streams. You gather your friends, and we provide the bags!

Fix a Leak Week (March)

Each year, the Environmental Services Department hosts Fix a Leak Week where residents can learn how to chase down home leaks with local events, tips and more.

Water Conservation Symposium (May)

Hosted by The Woodlands Township, the Water Conservation Symposium is sponsored by Woodlands Joint Powers Agency and Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District.
