Texas Public Information Act


The Texas Public Information Act gives the public the right to request access to government information.  Public information requests made under the Texas Public Information Act Government Code Chapter 552 must be submitted in writing.  All submitted written requests are treated uniformly and reviewed to determine whether the requested information is public under The Act.  The public information request will be processed promptly and responsive information will be made available within the time allowed by law.

Public information requests must be submitted in writing to the Accounting and Public Information Analyst by one of the following methods:
  1. Public Information Request Form
  2. Email
  3. Mail
  4. In Person
