There is a wealth of native and naturalized plants to use for landscapes and gardens in our area. This list is far from exhaustive, but meant to provide a good sampling of those that can be found at local nurseries and provide special benefits. These benefits may be fall color or beautiful blooms for our enjoyment, or food and nectar for wildlife. Plants are well-adapted to our weather conditions and acidic soil, and once established, most require little supplemental water.
