As a result of Montgomery County’s Declaration of Local Disaster for COVID-19 and at the Order of The Woodlands Township President/General Manager, The Woodlands Township is enacting the following actions in regards to Special Event Permits to ensure consistency with the Declaration and Order:
Existing Permits- The Woodlands Township has revoked all approved events that required Special Event Permits through Sunday, April 12, 2020. Events meeting the criteria in which a Special Event Permit is required includes walks, runs, tournaments, corporate outings, etc. If you have an approved Special Event Permit for an event through April 12, 2020, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department for a refund, or identification of a new date after April 12, 2020 or the lifting of the Declaration and Order.
Future Permits- The Woodlands Township will accept permits applications for events after April 12, 2020. To view the Township’s Special Event Policies and Procedures and apply for a Special Event Permit online, visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov. Please note permits will not be processed until such a time that the Declaration or Order has been rescinded.
