The Woodlands Township recently honored The Woodlands Fire Department and public safety individuals for their dedication and heroic efforts in 2021 to make The Woodlands one of the safest communities in the United States.
The event, called “Honoring Those Who Serve,” paid tribute to the commitment and heroic efforts of 24 individuals representing The Woodlands Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety - DPS, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County Hospital District, Montgomery County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3 and Harris County Constable’s Office, Precinct 4. Each honoree was chosen by their respective departments for exemplary service, heroic efforts and dedication to public safety in The Woodlands.
“The Woodlands Fire Department and our partner agencies work diligently to ensure the safety and security of residents, visitors and businesses of The Woodlands,” said Township President and General Manager Monique Sharp. “We commend them for going the extra mile in making The Woodlands a safer community.”
