Responsibilities
The Finance and Administration Department at The Woodlands Township is responsible for governmental accounting and human resources.

The Department oversees the sales and use tax as well as the hotel occupancy tax that fund the Township programs. The Department also presents reports to the Board of the Township each month in public meetings.

The Finance Department advises the Board and the President of the Township in matters of administrative procedure, financial prudence and long-term financial planning, with the goal of minimizing the cost of the portion of governmental function that is not directly serving the taxpayers of the Township.
