Employees, residents and visitors can park once and hop aboard the free trolley to popular retail, entertainment, and office locations. The trolleys provide transit service along an approximate 4.1-mile route connecting The Woodlands Mall, Market Street, Town Center, The Woodlands Waterway and Hughes Landing restaurants, hotels, businesses and residences.
Trolley hours of operation and route maps are listed below.
The Town Center Trolleys are partially funded through Federal Transit Administration (FTA) formula grants.
In addition to the added stops, riders can now track the Town Center Trolley in real time on a mobile device. The Ride Systems App can be downloaded for Town Center Trolley information including estimated arrival times, location, stop information, nearby attractions, service alerts and more. The app can be downloaded for free in the Apple (IOS) or Google Play (Android) store and installed on any smartphone. After installation, select “The Woodlands Township” from the menu to begin use.
In accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, The Woodlands Township provides ADA Complementary Paratransit service in conjunction with the fixed-route Town Center Trolley service. This service is provided for persons unable to utilize the regular Town Center Trolley service.
