One 4 Texas Kids' Fun Run

About the Race

The annual One 4 Texas Kids' Fun Run is an exciting opportunity for kids ages 5-12 to join in. This event offers 200 participants a one mile fun run along Lake Woodlands starting at the Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas and 3.1 Armadillo Run start/finish line. One 4 Texas is a non-competitive event designed to promote fun and fitness for kids of all abilities. All participants will receive a finisher's medal at the finish line.

Parent Information

  • Parents can run with child. Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas or 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K runners can use this as a warm up!
  • Volunteers will be in designated shirts and will be positioned at the start and finish, and running the race with your child. The Kids' Race Coordinator will introduce volunteer runners during stretches with Ace the Armadillo from 6:45- 6:55 a.m.
  • Please make sure to have a meeting place with your child at the finish line. They will be so excited to show you their medal, and can refuel at the Post-Race Party!

Race Information

Check out the course map before the race begins so both you and your child can become familiar with the course and designate an after race meeting place.

  • 6:45 a.m. – Head to the start line to warm up and stretch with Ace the Armadillo
  • 6:55 a.m. – Runners take your mark!
  • 7 a.m. – Race starts
  • 7:30 a.m. – Post Race Party begins – Take your child through the Athlete Food Area line for food and refreshments.
