Event Schedule
Arts in the Park presents Shakespeare in the Park with pre-show music by WHAM - Woodlands Hammers and Mallets at 6 p.m., followed by a live Shakespeare theatre performance of Henry V, by Points North Theatre Company, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

"Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more!"

If ever there was a single, unifying voice of command, it was King Henry the Fifth, who ruled England in the 15th century. His rise to power and subsequent reign is presented to you in full, live glory in Points North Theatre Company's production of HENRY V.

Based upon historical events, William Shakespeare's masterpiece tells of how the former bratty "Prince Hal" finally embraces his destiny and ascends the English throne. After learning that his bloodline also grants him the throne of France, and subsequently being rebuffed by French King Charles and his son the Dauphin, Henry decides to wage a campaign against his foes until he unites the two countries under one banner.

"We few... we happy few... we band of brothers!"

Against insurmountable odds and after an upset victory at the Siege of Harfleur, Henry and his ragtag troops square off against the Dauphin's armies at the Battle of Agincourt, where only one can be left standing. And yet, even after the battle is won, Henry still needs to capture the heart and hand of the French Princess Katharine.

Points North presents a timeless, inclusive saga that is sure to inspire audiences of all ages.
