Earth Day GreenUp
Saturday, March 25, 2023
Team up with family and friends to help keep our community beautiful while enjoying the outdoors! Remove litter from pathways, greenbelts and waterways and be part of the Great American Clean up that improves the health and beauty of our environment. Join us for the 12th annual community litter cleanup day, Earth Day GreenUp on Saturday, March 25, 2023.
Annually, volunteers remove 4,500 pounds of litter -- 76 of our 96-gallon curbside trash carts worth!
How to “GreenUp” with The Woodlands Township
1. Check in to your Village’s GreenUp park between 8 and 10 a.m. to receive disposable
gloves, trash bags, a map to a nearby cleanup location and litter grabbers.
2. Pick up litter at your assigned or chosen location.
3. Return equipment and bags of litter to your Village’s GreenUp park by 11 a.m.
Pick a GreenUp Park
Be sure to register everyone in your group by March 20th using the Register Here button below. Choose one of the following parks - this location will be where your group will receive and return equipment. Participants will be assigned a cleanup location in the Village where the park is located.
Ready to Keep The Woodlands Beautiful? Register Now
Register before March 20th to ensure enough supplies and equipment for everyone. Walk-up registration the morning of the event is welcome, however equipment is prioritized for those that pre-registered.

Please note: A signed waiver is required for all participants. Participants under the age of 18 must have a guardian sign their waiver form; if walking up the day of the event, the guardian must be present to sign.
