THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 1, 2015) - Be Aware. Plan Ahead. The CB&I Tri – The Woodlands Triathlon will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, beginning and ending at Northshore Park. Please be aware that portions of Woodlands Parkway, Lake Woodlands Drive, Research Forest Drive, Grogan’s Mill Road and roads in the Town Center will be used for the race. It is expected that some traffic delays will be experienced during the morning, in and around the race route. We suggest you avoid delays and use alternate routes around the race, as the outside lane of the streets along the race course will be closed to automobile traffic from 6 to 10:30 a.m.; though roads will begin to re-open at 8:20 a.m.

Please visit Traffic Information for ESTIMATED LANE OPENINGS. After the race starts the lanes will reopen on a rolling basis as soon as the last participant has passed and all course support materials have been removed. This area will be congested throughout the event. Please use extreme caution while traveling in this area. Avoid delays, use alternate routes – residents and businesses located near the race course are urged to plan ahead and to be aware of lane closure schedules and use alternate access routes.
