THE WOODLANDS, TX (May 15, 2015) – Enjoy the official start of summer at a two-day celebration of free concerts, fireworks, strolling entertainers and more at “Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands,” presented by Wells Fargo and hosted by The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, May 23 – 24, 2015 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. in Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive.
Start your weekend getaway on Saturday, May 23 in Town Green Park as Memorial Day Weekend in The Woodlands presents the Motown, disco and old school funk sounds of The Level One Band followed by dazzling fireworks display, weather permitting, over The Woodlands Waterway. Fireworks proudly sponsored by America’s ER Medical Center.

The Memorial Day Weekend celebration returns to Town Green Park on Sunday, May 24 with the popular country sounds of Junior Gordon. Following the concert, the night sky over The Woodlands Waterway once again will light up with a fireworks, weather permitting.

Besides great music, both nights will feature activities including wipe-out inspired inflatables, vendor booths, face painting, balloon art and strolling entertainers. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Paid parking is available at the 24 Waterway Parking Garage (corner of Fountain Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive), the Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountain Plaza and Woodloch Court) and the surface lots at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place and the corner of Six Pines and Lake Robbins Drive.
