THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (August 12, 2015) – The Riva Row Boat House begins fall hours of operation Monday, August 17, 2015. The new hours for kayak rentals are 9 a.m. to sunset, with the last kayak out one hour before sunset.

The Riva Row Boat House will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but open the rest of the week to accommodate those wanting to enjoy an outing on the lake for family get-togethers, dates, team building exercises, fishing excursions, or just a relaxing paddle around scenic Lake Woodlands.

The family dog is also welcome to ride for free in the kayaks, and lifejackets are available for dogs of all sizes. Fishing enthusiasts are welcome to bring a pole and tackle box, and the friendly staff will help to select the best kayaks for day fishing trips.

Single kayaks are available for $15 and tandem kayaks for $20 for the first hour, with $5 for each additional hour for both single and tandem kayaks. A valid ID is required for all rentals, and a two-person maximum is allowed per kayak.

Located at 2101 Riva Row, the Riva Row Boat House is within walking distance of the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Market Street, as well as the many free parking lots south of Riva Row. The Boat House is also a short ride on the free trolley service from any spot along The Woodlands Waterway®.
