THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (June 16, 2016) – Public Education Coordinator Andrea Wilson of the Montgomery County Emergency Communication District will update residents on Smart911: Planning Ahead for an Emergency at the next Watch Talk Wednesday from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard, The Woodlands, 77381. The meeting will be held in Public Meeting Rooms 150/152. Residents should enter at the left/west side of the building.
The Montgomery County 9-1-1 system is evolving to take advantage of new technologies and opportunities, and residents are invited to learn about the new services and improvements to existing systems. Ms. Wilson’s discussion will also include information about the District’s new emergency notification system, Smart911 Facility and Text-to-911.
Watch Talk Wednesday is a free monthly series that provides residents with information on crime prevention practices and resources, as well as general safety information. Light refreshments will be provided by H-E-B.
