THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (June 17, 2016) – The Woodlands Township has received notice from the Harris County Toll Road Authority that there will be a total closure of the I-45 North main lanes beginning Friday night, June 17, 2016, at 11 p.m. through Saturday, June 18, 2016, at noon. Motorists should expect delays in the area and allow for additional travel time during the closure.

The I-45 closure will impact the following locations:

Southbound:
All traffic exits @ Rayford Sawdust (Exit #73)
Rayford Sawdust Entrance Ramp Closed
Traffic re-enters after Springwoods Village Parkway

Northbound:
All traffic exits @ Spring Stuebner (Exit #70B)
Spring Stuebner Entrance Ramp Closed
EB to NB Direct Connector from Grand Parkway Closed
Traffic re-enters after Springwoods Village Parkway (just before Rayford Sawdust)

The southbound direct connector from I-45 to the southbound Hardy Toll Road will be closed at 10 p.m., but this will not impact the I-45 main lanes.
