THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (July 4, 2016)— Due to unprecedented high wind gusts, The Woodlands Township was unable to complete the finale portion of tonight's Red, Hot and Blue Fireworks Extravaganza over Lake Woodlands. Upon review by The Woodlands Fire Department Safety Inspector, a decision was made to bring the show to an immediate conclusion to ensure spectator safety. The show at Town Green Park was able to run through its entirety. Safety is a top priority for The Woodlands Township, and we thank you for your understanding in this matter.
