[ARCHIVED] Arts in the Park accepting applications for artisans

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (December 16, 2016) – Apply to be an art vendor at the next Arts in the Park, scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2017, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, 77389.

The vendor fee is $50, which includes a tent, a table and two chairs. Electricity is not provided. To register, please complete the application found at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/artsinthepark by Friday, February 3, 2017. Applicants must send a photo or link to photos of artwork. Artists must be at least 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult. All works must be the original creation of the artist and produced by the artist. Photography is acceptable.

The Arts in the Parks program is a free, family-friendly event that allows local artists to exhibit their art, whether it be unique woodwork, painting, crafts or jewelry. All aspects of the visual arts are welcome. Spectators are able to purchase fine and original work produced by these local artists. Stage entertainment will be provided The Woodlands Township’s partnership with the Teen Talent Show.
