THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (May 7, 2018) – Registration is now open for both Sunny Dayz Camp locations: The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park, 5310 Research Forest Drive, and The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in The Woodlands. New this year, camps are available for children and teens.
The Bear Branch location will offer Sunny Dayz Camp from Monday, June 4 through Friday, August 10, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park. Camp is for children ages 6 to 12. Campers will play gym games, go the park, do crafts, participate in special activities, travel to pools in The Woodlands for swimming, and take field trips to the Houston Zoo, Main Event, Sk8 Town and more.
The Rob Fleming Park location will offer camp from Monday, June 4 through Monday, August 20, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park. Camp is for children ages 6 to 12. Campers will enjoy weekly kayaking, archery, swimming at the Rob Fleming Aquatics Center, playing gym games, doing crafts, participating in special activities, and taking field trips to the Houston Zoo, Main Event, Sk8 Town and more. Sunny Dayz Teen Camp is new for 2018. Held at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, Teen Camp is for ages 13 to 15. Teen Camp will be held from Monday, June 4 through Monday, August 20, 2018, from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Teens will have their own weekly schedule of activities, separate from regular Sunny Dayz Camp. Teen Camp activities include archery, kayaking, weekly community service projects, Teen Camp-only field trips, games, crafts, special activities and more.
Enrollment options and fees for all camps are $200 full week, $125 3-day option and $50 daily options per child. Sibling discounts are available.
