THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (June 22, 2018) – The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held an Incorporation Planning Session on Thursday, June 21, 2018, to discuss future governance.

Consultants from the Matrix Consulting Group and Novak Consulting Group provided an overall project update, base financial model assumptions, future financial model questions, and comparative findings and presented draft benchmarking research regarding revenue and municipal programs in comparison to the data of peer cities in Texas to be used in the Future Governance/Incorporation study.

The next public input-focused incorporation planning session will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2018 and the next scheduled incorporation planning session is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018. These meetings are held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77381, on the same days as the Board’s regular business meetings.
