THE WOODLANDS, Texas, July 9, 2018 – On Wednesday, July 11, the San Jacinto River Authority will repair a damaged water transmission line in the MUD 47 neighborhood of Autumn Branch. Work will begin around 8:30 a.m. Water service will be interrupted for approximately eight hours.
The WJPA staff on behalf of MUD 47 will assist and install a temporary water supply connection to the Autumn Branch neighborhood. This temporary connection is an extra effort to keep some water service available to area customers while the major line repair is underway. Customers are encouraged to limit all outdoor water use on that day. If you live in the affected service area, please run your water for a few minutes after water service returns to flush iron and other naturally occurring minerals.
