THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (July 20, 2018) – The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held an Incorporation Planning Session on Thursday, July 19, 2018, to discuss future governance.
The Board of Directors discussed the following incorporation-related matters on the Regular Agenda:
- Received a briefing by The Woodlands Township’s contracted municipal attorneys regarding Planning/Zoning and Covenant Enforcement Legal Issues;
- Received a presentation from Matrix Consulting Group on Planning & Zoning / Covenant Issues;
- Received a presentation from Novak Consulting Group on Planning & Zoning / Covenant Issues;
The next public input-focused incorporation planning session is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2018 and will provide an opportunity for the public to provide feedback on planning and zoning and covenant enforcement issues related to incorporation as a municipality. The public safety portion of the study, which was originally slated for the initial presentation by the Matrix Consulting Group on July 25, has been postponed. These meetings are held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., The Woodlands, Texas 77381, on the same days as the Board’s regular business meetings.
