THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (August 17, 2018) – The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a regular meeting on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands, Texas.
The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Consent Agenda:
- Received Administrative Reports from Township departments;
- Approved the purchase of the Motorola Fire Department Accountability System and related funding contribution from Montgomery County Emergency Communication District (MCECD 911);
The Board of Directors then moved on to take the following actions on the Regular Agenda:
- Awarded a bid for the construction of the Adventure Course to be located at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park and approved the related Business and Operations Plan;
- Deferred repairs to the Fountains at Waterway Square and authorized the Chairman to renegotiate the Donation Special Warranty Deed related to Waterway Square;
- Approved Resolution 009-18 nominating Peggy Hausman as a candidate to fill a vacancy on the Montgomery Central Appraisal District Board of Directors;
The Board also approved an engagement letter with the Baker McKenzie law firm.
