THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (September 4, 2019) – The Woodlands Township will host a free event on Saturday, September 28, 2019,to share tips and resources for creating landscapes that are beautiful as well as water-wise and earth-friendly. The 22nd annual Woodlands Landscaping Solutions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77389.
The event features lectures and demonstrations by area gardening experts and over 30 retail and educational booths. Take home free native plants from the Pass-Along Plant booth. Visit with local arborists, wildlife enthusiasts, and lawn care experts. Struggling with your green thumb? Bring in a sample of your plant for an on-site diagnosis. Interested in attracting and supporting monarch butterflies? Pick up a voucher for free native milkweed. Shop for rain barrels, compost bins, compost and native plants. Enjoy live music, food vendors and kids’ activities. There is something for everyone!
