THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (December 20, 2019) – ’Tis the season for giving! The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch invites you to donate blood at the special holiday drive on Monday, December 30, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive.
According to Gulf Coast Blood Center, donations are at their lowest during the months of November through January. However, the need for blood continues during the holidays as weather and increased holiday travel can contribute to accidents and injuries. Your donation is a true gift from the heart and could help save up to three lives. Blood can be given as a whole to patients or divided into separate components, with each one meeting a different need.
