THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (February 13, 2020) – The Woodlands Township is offering an opportunity to submit comments during a Public Hearing on the proposed Program of Projects. The Public Hearing will be held at The Woodlands Township, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd., conference room 150 on February 20, 2020, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The Woodlands Township proposes to use FY 2019, FY 2020, FY 2021, and FY 2022 Urbanized Area Formula Program and Bus and Bus Facilities Formula Program grants for public transportation projects within the Conroe-The Woodlands Urbanized Area. The proposed Program of Projects will be funded with grant support from the United States Department of Transportation. Topics to be discussed will include commuter bus services and proposed capital improvement projects.

A Woodlands Township staff member will be present at the public hearing. If no public comments are received via email to Sarah Coulter (scoulter@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov) by 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020, the proposed Program of Projects published in The Woodlands Villager newspaper on February 5, 2020, and presented during the public hearing, will become the final Program of Projects.
