The Woodlands Township presents Sunset Cinema: Deep in the Heart

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (October 12, 2022) –The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department, in partnership with the Texas Recreation and Park Society, will present a free movie night event, Sunset Cinema: Deep in the Heart, on Friday, October 14, 2022.

 Join us under the stars at the outdoor amphitheater located at the Rob Fleming Park Recreation Center, 6464 Creekside Forest Dr., for an educational and fun-filled evening starting at 6:30 p.m., featuring wildlife-themed outdoor booths, games, and trivia fun, followed by the movie at 7:30 p.m.

Deep in the Heart is a visually stunning, ground-breaking celebration of Texas’ diverse landscapes and remarkable wildlife found only here in Texas. The film, narrated by Matthew McConaughey, focuses on Texas land and wildlife conservation, the connectivity of water and wildlife, and the importance of Texas conservation on a Continental scale.

 This event is perfect for all ages and will give attendees the opportunity to interact with local partners specializing in outdoor education and conservation. We encourage guests to arrive early and grab a bag of free popcorn. Lawn chairs, blankets and coolers are welcome. No glass, please.
