THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (August 4, 2023) – The Woodlands Township will host a Salute to First Responders Blood Drive in August. Residents are invited to donate blood to those in need. According to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, about one in seven people entering a hospital needs blood, and every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion.

Time:               10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

All successful donors will receive a coupon for a pint of ice cream and will be entered into weekly giveaways for a chance to win $500 each week in gift cards and vouchers from Southwest Airlines.

Meet our first responders during the blood drive:

11 a.m. – The Woodlands Fire Department
12 p.m. – Department of Public Safety – Highway Patrol
  1 p.m. – Harris County Constable’s Office Precinct 4
  2 p.m. – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office – Crime Prevention Unit

Cupcakes will be served at 11 a.m.
