THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (October 5, 2023) –Memorial Hermann 10 for Texas 10-mile road race, 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K and One 4 Texas Kids’ Fun Run is set for Saturday, October 7, 2023, beginning at 7 a.m. The USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event will feature nearly 1,100 registered participants racing through The Woodlands, making their way to the finish line at Northshore Park.
“The 10-mile race is a USA-certified and sanctioned course,” said Township Chairman Dr. Ann K. Snyder. “This designation gives the opportunity for dedicated runners to challenge themselves while the Armadillo Run and the Kids’ Fun Run allow the entire family to participate.”
To ensure runner and spectator safety, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will be responsible for closing and reopening lanes on streets along the race route. Police officers will be at every intersection along the race route directing traffic and deputies will attempt to allow cars to safely pass through when there are gaps. Proper planning and awareness of lane closures can help drivers to avoid any major interruptions to their weekend plans.
