THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (October 11, 2023) – The Woodlands Township will be hosting a blood drive in October. Residents are invited to donate blood to those in need. According to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center basics, about one in seven people entering a hospital needs blood, and every two seconds someone needs a blood transfusion. Help save lives by donating! 

"Donating blood is a selfless act which ultimately helps save lives. Every two seconds per day someone needs blood,” said Chairman Dr. Ann K. Snyder. “Additional blood drives are coordinated by our dedicated staff throughout the year.”
