Board to Hold Public Hearing and Special Meeting Next Week

The Woodlands Township Board of Directors recently held budget workshops and recommended a 2016 ad valorem tax rate of 23 cents per $100 of taxable property value. The Township will be holding two public hearings before adopting the proposed tax rate and 2017 budget. The first of these meetings will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at 6 p.m. at Town Hall. Immediately following the public hearing, the Board will hold a special meeting for the selection of a law firm to address potential incorporation issues.
