Holiday Notices for Residents

The Woodlands Township offices will be closed Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26, 2016. All offices will reopen Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 8 a.m.
Service Notice: The Woodlands Express Park and Ride service will not run Friday, December 23 or Monday, December 26, 2016. Normal schedules will resume Tuesday, December 27, 2016.

Solid Waste Services Not Impacted by Holiday
All solid waste services in the community will occur as usual over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Waste Management will provide curbside pickup of trash, recycling and yard trimmings to all residents on their regular service day. 

To assist residents with recycling gift boxes and wrappings, additional holiday recycling pickup will be offered on each household’s first solid waste service day following December 25, 2016. READ ON… 

Spend Your Holidays on the Ice
The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center is the perfect place to spend your holidays with friends and family! All are invited to enjoy ice skating on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the brand-new 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility located next to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. The Woodlands Township is now accepting applications for art vendors at the next Arts in the Park, scheduled for Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Rob Fleming Park. The Arts in the Park program is a free, family-friendly event that allows local artists to exhibit their art, whether it be unique woodwork, painting, crafts or jewelry. The deadline to register is Friday, February 3, 2017.
