Board meetings are open to the public and are held at the Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. Agendas, minutes and meeting videos are available on the Township website. 

Fire Station Communication Towers

Fire Station Communication Towers

The Woodlands Township will begin the construction of seven communication towers at the end of June. The communication towers will be located near Fire Stations 2 through 8, respectively. The endeavor was approved by The Woodlands Township Board of Directors. The communication towers will play a critical role in emergency situations for The Woodlands Fire Department, allowing for reliable communications throughout a disaster. Township’s Public Safety Open House celebrates public safety partnerships

Public Safety Open Houses
The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch encourages residents to stop, drop and roll into a local fire station this summer and experience the lights and sirens of public safety equipment. Each of the eight fire stations of The Woodlands Fire Department will host a Public Safety Open House. The first in the series will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at Station 8, 11800 Gosling Rd. The complete schedule can be found on the Township website.  READ ON

Water Safety Week

Water Safety Week

The Woodlands Township invites residents to celebrate Water Safety Week at the Township pools beginning Monday, June 24, 2019, through Friday, June 28, 2019. The Township will host a number of water safety programs for children throughout Water Safety Week with presentations by members of the Township Aquatics department. The programs will also include a short lesson on water safety, time in the water to practice water skills and games with Josh the Otter. The programs are free and open to the public. READ ON

Celebrate the Fourth of July in The Woodlands with a spectacular lineup of events providing entertainment for the whole family to enjoy. From the South County Fourth of July Parade to Splash Day at the Township pools and dazzling fireworks shows in multiple locations, there is something for everyone! READ ON
