With shutdown of our economy, stay In place , and possible shortages, could some of our park and recreation lands be available for fruit and nut trees planting activities? We as a community should take steps to be self sustainable. We should apply as much modern day permaculture principles to our community. I have seen some of our garden areas open for public use, but should we take more steps. Maybe consultation with a permaculturist that has a history of advising municipalities would provide several improvement's to the Township, way beyond planting some fruit and nut bearing trees.
