About William Pham
Mr. William Pham oversees the Information Technology and Facilities Departments at The Woodlands Township.
His responsibilities includes the Information Technology, Radio Communications, and GIS which supports the design, development, implementation, and management of data systems, cyber and physical security, as well as voice and radio communication systems. His responsibilities also includes facility maintenance.
Mr. Pham joined the Woodlands Community Service Corporation in 1998 as the Network Administrator. He was promoted to Information Technology Manager in 2007 and then the Director of Information Technology in 2010. He is a Certified Government Chief Information Officer. He is also an active member of the Texas Association of Governmental Information Technology Managers where he has served as President, Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer.
During his tenure with the Township, Mr. Pham developed the technology infrastructure from the ground up to what it is today, fully robust and always changing.
He has served as Co-Construction Manager of the Township’s Townhall facility at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd. in The Woodlands. Over the years, he and his team have implemented new technologies and systems such as GIS, land management, asset/work order systems, mobile apps and server virtualization.
Partnering with The Woodlands Fire Department, Mr. Pham and his team have implemented new technologies and infrastructure such as apparatus mobile data computers and public safety communication systems.
