Visit our newest kayak rental facility on Lake Woodlands. Located in Hughes Landing and open to the public, Lakes Edge Boat House offers kayak and paddleboard rentals just a short walk from Restaurant Row, Whole Foods, and the boardwalk on Lake Woodlands.

Seasonal Hours of Operation

Hours of operation vary throughout the year based on the season, per the schedule listed below. View current hours of operation, or call Lakes Edge Boat House at 281-210-2065. 
 

• July 3 – August 9: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Last call 7 p.m.)  Closed Tuesdays
• August 10 – December 31: 9 a.m. to sunset (Last Call: 1 Hour before sunset)  Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• HOLIDAY HOURS: New Year’s Eve: 9 a.m. to Sunset,  New Year’s Day: 11 a.m. to Sunset

 Boat Rental Options

• Pricing:
  • Single Kayak: $15 for the first hour
  • Tandem Kayak: $20 for the first hour
  • Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP): $20 for the first hour
  • Each Additional Hour: $5 per boat
• Lifejackets and paddles included in all rentals.
• Valid ID and a signed liability waiver are required for all rentals.

 Online Waiver Forms

Liability waivers can be filled out online or on a tablet at either boat house. Once completed, the liability waiver remains active for the current year.
