The Rodeo Express
The Rodeo Express is one of The Woodlands Township’s most popular seasonal transit services, offering residents and visitors a convenient way to travel to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at NRG Stadium. This special service departs from the Sawdust Park and Ride and provides a hassle-free, direct ride to the rodeo—all for the standard cost of a Woodlands Express ticket.

Tickets are now on sale for the Rodeo Express!
But before you click that button to purchase tickets keep in mind:
- You MUST purchase a one-way ticket for each direction. This means you need to BOOK YOUR RIDE TO THE RODEO and BOOK YOUR RIDE HOME and on the same day, so make sure you secure both before you check out!
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
- Children age 2 and under may ride free when seated on the lap of a fare-paying adult. A maximum of one lap child per adult is permitted.
- Children age 3 and older must have their own seat purchased at the standard rate.
- All passengers under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- The Woodlands Express regular tickets are NOT VAILD for this special service.
- This service is only available out of the Saw Dust Park & Ride.
- All passengers will receive a wristband at the Saw Dust Park & Ride and must wear it in order to ride the bus both to and from the Rodeo.
- Passengers who miss their return bus cannot be guaranteed return transportation.

Sawdust Park & Ride
Located at 701 Westridge Road, the Sawdust Park and Ride is the exclusive departure point for the Township’s Rodeo Express service. With convenient access from the freeway and plenty of free parking, this location makes it easy to begin your trip to NRG Stadium.
By riding Rodeo Express from Sawdust, you can skip the stress and expense of parking at the rodeo altogether. There are no parking fees at the Park and Ride, and you’ll avoid the heavy traffic, long walks and high rates associated with on-site event parking at NRG. Just park, board and enjoy a relaxing ride to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service – Code of Conduct & Rider Policies
To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all riders, please review the following policies before traveling with The Woodlands Express Rodeo Service.
Departures & Check-In
- Departures are from Sawdust Park & Ride, 701 Westridge Rd., Spring, TX 77380.
- Wristbands will be issued at Sawdust upon check-in.
- For return trips, arrive at the Special Events loading area at the Rodeo Express Bus Tent at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
- Passengers who miss their return bus cannot be guaranteed return transportation.
Special Requirements
- Reserved seating and separate purchased tickets are required for each direction on the same day to secure round-trip service.
- Children age 2 and under may ride free when seated on the lap of a fare-paying adult (maximum one lap child per adult).
- Children age 3 and older must have their own seat and purchase a fare at the standard rate.
- All passengers under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Restrictions
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Regular Woodlands Express tickets are not valid for this special service.
- No eating or drinking on the bus.
- No smoking on buses or inside terminals.
- No weapons or firearms unless permitted by state law.
- Only personal assistance animals are permitted; no other animals.
- No riding while under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
- Loud or abusive behavior, including profanity or racial/vulgar comments, may result in removal and loss of ridership privileges.
- Passengers must wear a shirt and shoes at all times.
- All personal items must be taken off the bus upon arrival; The Township is not responsible for items left behind.
- Music or movies must be listened to via earphones; no playing aloud.
- The Township reserves the right to restrict certain items on buses.
